On April 9th we welcomed a stunning filly by Etoulon VDL out of our mare Eline H. Kamena Eickenrode was named after Camena, a nymph from the Roman mythology. Sire Etoulon VDL is well on his way of becoming a top progenitor as he passes on his extreme jumping abilities.
Kamena Eickenrode was declared champion of the jumping foals at the Foal Inspection in Terschuur. Inspectors Arnold Kootstra and Dirk Reijne explained that she is a beautiful, well-developed foal with a fantastic canter and abundant balance. This also meant Kamena Eickenrode was invited to the KWPN National Foal Championships. Here she performed really well and got placed 9th in the championships final!
Kamena Eickenrode was sold to Azerbeidzjan via Dutch Top Foals Auction / Veulenveiling Midden-Nederland.

Kamena Eickenrode in sport
Kamena Eickenrode was sold to Great Britain as a youngster. The British rider Alice Palmer produced her until 2020 when she campaigned Kamena at the Sunshine Tour in Spain. There, she was recruited by the Irish Grand Prix rider Richard Howley of HK Stables. He and his partner Morgan Kent bought the mare with the top levels sport in mind.
