April 6th, Eline H (Indoctro x Corrado I) gave birth to a beautiful filly by Etoulon VDL. This foal received the name Nausikaa, an important character in the Greek epos Odyssey. Odysseus is shipwrecked and receives help by the king’s daughter Nausikaä, which means the burner of ships. The passage in which he expresses his wonderment about her beauty, is one of the most famous excerpts of the Odyssey.
November 1st of 2022, Nausikaa Eickenrode successfully participated in an IBOP. She passed the ability test with 78 points in total. The KWPN inspectors praised her technique, light-footedness, overview and her hindquarter technique on the jump. In the studbook inspection afterwards she was awarded the Elite predicate with 70/80.
Nausikaa Eickenrode is selected for the Youngsters Auction of May 23, 2023.
