Hesperus Eickenrode

Hesperus Eickenrode, Latin for evening star, was born in 2012 as an offspring of Zirocco Blue VDL out of our National Mare Championships mare Boracific VDL elite PROK sport-spr prestatie (s.Indorado). In 2017, Hesperus made his international debut with the Slovakian rider Juraj Hanulay. They obtained placements in several 5yo classes, including a respectable third place and sixth position in the CSIYH1* final of Wiener Neustadt, Austria. In 2018 Hesperus Eickenrode was sold to Mexico, where he continued his career with the international showjumper Andres Berganza. The combination placed 13th in the prestigious national final for seven-year-olds and are active at 1.40m level.
